WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO   

Rally Tyres is a South Island based Rallying Team.Shane Rogers, Cherie Holman, Stephen Fisher (Timaru), Scott Jones (Pleasant Point), James Bee (Oamaru) and Hamish Anderson (Christchurch). These guys are all keen Motorsport enthusiasts taking part in various Motorsport events.

We are team of over 15 people – including Britney, Jo and Siobhan (Promo girls), and all the drivers, co-drivers, service crew and support crew. The Rally tyres NZ team competes in many Rallies, Hill-climbs, and Sprint events throughout the South Island with a couple of the guys competing in North Island Rallies in which part of the team step up and be service crews for the guys racing.

The Rally Tyres NZ team have had a lot of success over the past few months with many of the guys winning their classes and the promo girls have been asked to sell raffles and hand out information at various club rallies, and boosting the teams profile by getting our name out there

Hamish got 1st in his class in the 2011 Mainland Rally Series, 3rd Overall Autosport Club Championship 2011, Autocross Club Champion 2011, 2nd 0-1300 Westland Rally 2011, 1st in the 0-1300 Autosport Club Championship 2010, Autosport Novus Driver of the year 2010, 1st in Dunlop Rally Sprint – Waimate 50 2010

James origionally started rallying after watching other rallies, hill-climbs and rally sprints throughout the South Island.James got 1st in 2010 1300cc class at Lawrence Rally 2010, 1st in class 2011 Ashley Forest Rally Sprint, Competed in the Otago Classic Rally 2011, Participant in Waimate 50 2011.

Stephen was origionally a Co-Driver for Scott Jones but decided he would take up driving in Motorsport in 2010Stephen has competed in the 2010 Mainland Rally series (Co-Driving for Scott jones) 1st in class at Showgrounds Auto Service Gravel weekend, 53rd overall at Ashley Forest rally Sprint, 3rd overall in class at Waimate 50 2011.

Scott came 2nd overall in his class at the 2011 Mainland Rally series, 1st overall at Showgrounds Auto Service Gravel weekend, 11th overall 2011 at Ashley Forest Rally sprint, 3rd overall at Waimate 50 2011.

Shane Rogers – Foodz

Currently racing a 1993 Subaru impreza WRX STI – Sedan

Shane has only got back into rallying over the past 12 months.Shane owns and operates his own automotive workshop (Showgrounds Auto Services)This year Shane is focusing on winning ”Pre 96″ class in the Mainland Rally Series – in the long-term they would like to compete in the New Zealand Rally Champs. 18th overall Ashley Forest Rally Sprint.

 With a variety of drivers throughout the team, we compete in various classes with many different cars, all of our drivers are looking at competing in the Mainland Rally Series 2012 which includes Westland (Greymouth), Otago(Dunedin), Canterbury (Christchurch) and Catlins (Balclutha).
